The entries for the 6th Annual Peeps in Law diorama contest have all arrived, and it’s a banner year! We received more than twice the number of entries as last year, and there are some really great ones in there.

Some popular themes for this year were gay marriage, upskirt photos and (for some reason) ship-related cases. Samantha of Huntington, W. Va., was the first entrant with her harrowing depiction of cannibal sailor peeps, and another team put together a clever take on the Case of the Two Ships Peerless.

B. McLeod’s entry “The Mod Knight Special” even helped me realize a personal goal: to be immortalized in song. “And if you get a snippy e-mail / No matter what befalls / Don’t try to argue your opinion / Or you’re in trouble with Lee Rawles.”

Now that all entries are in, we will be selecting the best of the bunch, then opening voting to our readers on Wednesday, April 9 at 4 p.m. Tell us in the comments which dioramas you think should win! And click here to see the full list of contest rules.
