Law.com has compiled a list of the law schools that are highest-ranked by U.S. News in the nation’s most affordable cities, as ranked by Forbes.
First, Law.com starts with the cheapest cities and finds the best-ranked law schools in those cities. Its top five:
1) Knoxville, ranked No. 2 in affordability, and University of Tennessee College of Law, ranked No. 65 by U.S. News, with tuition of $37,903.
2) Oklahoma City, ranked No. 4 in affordability, and Oklahoma City University School of Law, ranked No. 144 by U.S. News, with tuition of $34,330.
3) St. Louis, ranked No. 7 in affordability, and Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, ranked No 18 by U.S. News, with tuition of $51,626.
4) Indianapolis, ranked No. 9 in affordability, and Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, ranked No. 100 by U.S. News, with tuition of $45,210
5) Detroit, ranked No. 10 in affordability, and Wayne State University Law School, ranked No. 97 by U.S. News, with tuition of $32,894.
