Three IP Lawyers Jump to King & Spalding from Baker Botts

The co-chair of the international patent practice group at Baker Botts is among three intellectual property partners jumping from the firm to King & Spalding.
The co-chair, Bruce Slayden II, will join King & Spalding’s IP department in Austin, Texas, according to a press release. Joining him there will be Baker Botts lawyer R. William Beard Jr. A third Baker Botts lawyer, Andy Grubert, will joining King & Spalding’s London office.
King & Spalding’s IP practice has more than 150 lawyers and patent agents in nine offices. A profile in the American Lawyer last fall said the law firm is
