Updated: After news yesterday that another seven lawyers had joined the exodus from Howrey comes further news this morning that at least 17 more, including eight partners, are exiting, too.

Headed by the former co-chair of the construction litigation group, John Heisse, a 15-lawyer contingent is moving to Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, where Heisse will now oversee the practice group at his new firm, reports Bloomberg.

A Pillsbury press release and a post by the Blog of Legal Times provide further details.

The other former co-chair of the Howrey construction group, Andrew Ness, is headed to Jones Day, along with another Howrey partner, the BLT says. Seven Howrey construction partners went to Jones Day last month, as an earlier ABAJournal.com post details.

Another Howrey partner, Ezra Levine, is headed to Morrison & Foerster, a press release announced today. He will work as senior counsel in the financial services group of his new firm’s Washington, D.C., office. His bio page at Howrey, which is still live, details his background.

Yesterday’s round of departures included Roger Klein, the former general counsel of Howrey and head of its Washington, D.C., headquarters office, as well as practice leaders in antitrust and insurance coverage.

A previous ABAJournal.com post details yesterday’s announcements:
