ABAJournal.com has been redesigned to provide our readers with faster access to the legal news and information they seek. The revamp comes two years after we last redesigned the site, and is based on feedback we’ve gotten from readers like you. Click on the images below to see the site features.

Our top stories, along with a complete list of all our most recent headlines updated throughout every business day, are the focus of the top of the homepage. Now you can see what’s making news in the legal profession at a glance.

We’ve given more prominence to stories from the monthly magazine, playing up our great art and photography in the Featured Stories section. Our online projects, such as the 50 Legal Rebels profiles of the profession’s leading innovators, will also be showcased in this space. Click on the red arrow to see more featured stories.

To help you easily find news about the topics that matter most, we’re spotlighting News by Topic. Each time you visit the homepage, three topics from among the eight that our readers care about most will be featured here. Click on the All Topics link to see all eight, or a complete list of stories about the more than 100 subjects we regularly cover.

What are lawyers like you saying about today’s news? You can find out by consulting our Blawg Directory, which lists more than 2,500 legal blogs written by experts in their fields; more are added every day. The directory’s most popular topics are featured on the homepage. The All Blawgs link takes you to this week’s featured blawg, along with the complete list of more than 100 categories.

Visiting our website isn’t the only way you can consume our news. The Stay Connected box enables you to sign up for our daily and weekly e-mail newsletters, subscribe to our RSS feeds, became a fan of the Journal on Facebook, get our Twitter feed, access our mobile edition, and much more.

Among the features along the right side of the homepage is our continuously-updated list of Most Read stories. We’ve also added lists of the stories that are drawing the most reader comments—you can add your two cents to all our stories—and those stories that readers are sending to their friends and colleagues. Also on the right side, you’ll find a list of the latest legal jobs around the nation from the new ABA Career Center, along with a link to all the job ads.

The pace of change online is relentless, so we’ll continue to add new features to the site in the months ahead. In the meantime, we’d like to hear from you about the redesign—what you like and what you don’t—and what new features you’d like to see us incorporate. We invite you to add your voice to the comment stream below.
