Two Freshfields Energy Partners in NY Depart for New Firm; Will Others Follow?

Two New York-based partners in the energy and infrastructure practice at Freshfields—including the department chairman—are moving to Allen & Overy.

Kent Rowey, who heads Freshfields' Americas Energy and Infrastructure Practice, and partner Dolly Mirchandani are making the leap, and others may soon follow, Above the Law reports.

“Allen & Overy declined to comment on this subject,” the blog says, “but we’ve heard reports that a number of other project finance lawyers will be moving from Freshfields to A&O.”
