Venture Fund Lawyers Leave Wilson Sonsini

Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati has lost key members of its venture fund formation group to a competing law firm’s new Palo Alto, Calif., office.

Goodwin Procter has snagged Wilson partners Jonathan Axelrad and Robert Fore and of counsel Gerald Chacon Jr., the Recorder reports.

Axelrad wouldn't tell the legal publication whether the remaining members of his group—four associates and another of counsel—would also leap to the new firm. But he did say the associates "have certainly expressed interest."
