Virginia Tech Gunman Ignored Court Order for Treatment

State law says a community services board is supposed to monitor treatment, but a board official told the newspaper that requirement is "news to us." The agency doesn’t act unless it is ordered to be a treatment provider, said Mike Wade, a community liaison for the board.
