A virtual law firm that got its start in Boston is expanding into New York and Washington, D.C.

The firm, Outside GC, announced its expansion last week, the Washington Post reports. The firm touts “on-demand” in-house legal services for corporations at a reduced cost. Firm co-founder Jon Levitt says in a press release that the firm is expanding in the two metropolitan areas because of their growing technology and media sectors.

Outside GC hires lawyers with both big-firm and in-house experience. According to the firm’s website, Outside GC offers flexible work schedules and collaboration through a “virtual hallway.”
