By all accounts, Stuart Rosenfeldt isn't a stereotypical angry litigator.
The easygoing Florida employment attorney believes in karma, and looks to the rare New Guinea sea turtles he keeps in tanks in his office to provide what the Miami Herald refers to as his "Zen thing"—a spoken mantra, habit, or hobby that helps create a peaceful atmosphere. He also exercises five times a week and looks for the humor in life.
By taking a holistic approach to the practice of law, all involved benefit, Rosenfeldt believes:
"I teach employers how to follow the law," he says. "I teach them holistic employee relations, that it's a round world, that they need to keep in mind they're dealing with humans in their employees, and that even though the law does not require them to show respect, if they do respect their employees both sides will get along better and find themselves in court less often."
