For the second time in a little over a year, a Sacramento, Calif.-based law firm has expanded its footprint and capabilities by acquiring another law firm.

On Jan. 1, it was San Francisco’s Tobin & Tobin, one of the oldest law firms in California, that merged with Weintraub Genshlea Chediak. Now the melded firm has acquired a Los Angeles entertainment law boutique, Weissmann Wolff Bergman Coleman Grodin, a Friday press release explains. Another page on the firm’s website provides more background about the various law firms.

The combined firm, which will be known as Weintraub Tobin Chediak Coleman Grodin, now has a roster of more than 70 attorneys.
