What Excesses Have You Uncovered in This Belt-Tightening Period?
We learned this week over at 3 Geeks and a Law Blog that a national law firm put the brakes on what it was seeing as some pretty inefficient and costly Westlaw research practices.
Indeed, the firm said in a memo that it was “urgent” for all those doing legal research to follow best practices in order to control costs. The result at the unnamed firm is mandatory training and a good schooling in said best practices.
This made us wonder about how you’re controlling costs and cutting back on excesses during the Great Recession.
