For the 10th straight year, The Black List (PDF) was released on the second Friday of December. It is a survey that asks hundreds of film executives to put forth their 10 favorite not-in-production scripts of that year.

In the No. 15 spot on this year’s list of 70 scripts is On the Basis of Sex. The one-sentence pitch? “The story of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, as she faced numerous obstacles to her fight for equal rights throughout her career.”

The “Notorious R.B.G.” is hot right now, no doubt; a new biography of Justice Ginsburg is also in the works. But surely she’s not the only JD worthy of a Hollywood movie.

This week, we’d like to ask you: What lawyer, past or present, do you think would be a good subject of a feature film biopic? Feel free to get in the spirit and provide a title and one-sentence pitch for your cinematic masterpiece and discuss how you would cast the leading roles.
