Sometimes, your hard work as a lawyer, law student or law professor does not go unnoticed.

A client or colleague might take the time to share a complimentary message.

On Twitter this week, George Washington University law professor Orin Kerr shared a favorable comment from a student evaluation:

“In context, I think it was meant as a compliment,” Kerr wrote in a follow-up tweet. “But I appreciated the ambiguity.”

So this week, we’d like to ask you: What’s the most memorable praise you’ve ever received related to your legal work?

Answer in the comments.

Featured answer:

Posted by Matt C: “Absolutely it changed me. One of the earliest examples comes from my 2L summer. I went and saw The Perfect Storm.
