Often we end up spending more of our waking hours with colleagues than our loved ones, so perhaps it’s inevitable that our quirks and oddities surface. From catching our co-workers napping at their desks to seeing them clip their nails or pick their noses, most people have a story or two about embarrassing workplace encounters. (In the interest of full disclosure, the author of this post often takes her shoes off under her desk, and has absentmindedly walked barefoot into meetings with her boss.)

But some stories go beyond the run-of-the-mill. Entrepreneur recently published a post with a roundup of some workplace weirdness, culled from a CareerBuilder manager survey. Included are stories of a worker trying to hypnotize their fellow employees into quitting smoking; someone taking a spongebath in the office bathroom; someone searching for a mail-order bride on their work computer; and an employee who flew a drone around the office.

So this week, we’d like to ask you: What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever seen a co-worker do while on the job or in court? Has anyone every caught you doing something odd that you had to explain?

Answer in the comments (and please protect the identities of your weird co-workers.)
