Which 'everyone wears stripes' cartoon caption fits best? Vote now
This cartoon proved to be a bit more challenging to our audience. But there were more than 250 enthusiastic entries, many of which played off the idea of defendants getting a jury of their peers. ABA Journal staff enjoying picking their favorite captions for this cartoon, in which everyone in the courtroom is dressed in stripes.

This proposed caption from Jordan Reilly, of Eldora, Iowa, was my favorite: “What know the laws that thieves do pass on thieves?” My colleagues didn’t pick it as a finalist, but I’m curious if–without using a Web search–anyone recognizes the line. Let us know in the comments!
