White & Case has opened a new facility in Tampa, Florida, to provide centralized support services for the firm.

Some New York employees will relocate to work there, and the firm will hire others locally, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

“Our goal is to create a services center that serves the needs of our clients and improves overall efficiencies,” said Victor Núñez in a written statement to the newspaper. He serves as Americas regional chief operating officer for the law firm.

The firm has received some $300,000 in state and local incentives based on the expectation that the new office will create 100 jobs.
