Although he made it onto Jeopardy, and was still in contention to win through two rounds of the popular television game show, a Winston & Strawn associate will need to keep his day job.

William Durbin was defeated by a Bible question during the final round of the Dec. 6 program, reports the National Law Journal in an article reprinted in New York Lawyer.

“It would have been nice to win, but I still felt as though I can hold my head high,” he tells the legal publication, noting that his training as a lawyer helped him deal with the fast-paced question-and-answer format of the program.
