Why Lawyers and Staffers at One Law Firm May Soon Be Wearing Animal Prints and Pops of Color
Female lawyers and staffers at one California law firm were advised to “pop it with citron” and to try ruffles during a series of presentations on work wear last month.
The free advice likely came in handy when the staffers and lawyers went on a clothes shopping spree, courtesy of their employer.
The female staffers and lawyers at Cummins & White in Newport Beach, Calif., each got $500 to spend on clothes at Ann Taylor, the Orange County Register reports. Any additional money they spent at the store was matched dollar-for-dollar by the firm.
During the lunchtime fashion presentations, Ann Taylor manager Scott Stodola advised staffers they could pair citron with gray, wear ruffles to soften stiff lines, and add scarves to black. “And a little leopard never hurt anyone,” he advised.
