Wife of Attorney Murdered at His Law Office Turns Herself In After Being Indicted

After being indicted by a Laurel County grand jury in the murder of her husband, a Kentucky lawyer who was shot and killed at his law office, Lisa Gilliam has turned herself in to authorities.

They contend that she shot Larry Gilliam in the chest at his London law office in January, report WKYT and LEX18.

A subsequent LEX18 post says Gilliam was released after $100,000 bail was posted.

According to a January article in the Times-Tribune, Lisa Gilliam was in the law office at the time her husband was shot and called 911.

The articles don’t include any comment from her or her counsel.

Updated at 2:27 p.m. to include information from subsequent LEX18 article.
