After losing Monday a request for an en banc rehearing before the entire Washington, D.C., District Court of Appeals, Roy Pearson Jr.'s infamous $54 million "pants suit" claim may be running out of steam.
His only hope, at this point, is that the U.S. Supreme Court will grant certiorari, should he appeal the case over a pair of trousers allegedly lost by a Washington, D.C., dry cleaner to the nation's top court, according to the Washington Post.
Pearson, a now-former administrative law judge, lost in December another appeal to the district court It held he had failed to show he dry cleaner's "satisfaction guaranteed" promise amounted to fraud. Yesterday's decision denied a rehearing on the court's December ruling.

He may press his luck. He may press his stupid appeal. However, he’ll never be able to press those pants again, and it serves him right. I’m glad they lost his pants. He’s an idiot, and he’s wasting time and court resources.
