Will Obama Need a New AG? Holder Says He's Not Sure He's Staying On

Speaking to law students at the University of Baltimore, Eric Holder said Thursday he hasn’t decided whether he plans to remain Attorney General during President Barack Obama’s second term.
Holder said it’s a matter he needs to discuss with the president and his family.
“That’s something that I’m in the process now of trying to determine,” Reuters quotes him saying.
“Do I have some gas left in the tank? It has been an interesting and tough four years. I really just don’t know,” Holder said in a story by Fox News, which includes speculation on the president’s Cabinet reshuffling.
Reuters, which says it’s rare for an AG to stay more than four years, also notes that other Cabinet members are weighing whether to stay or go. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has already announced that she plans to leave, and Fox reports that post-election, those plans haven’t changed.
