A West Texas judge says Willie Nelson won’t have to bring his guitar to her courtroom after all.

Judge Becky Dean-Walker tells the Associated Press that the country singer can resolve a charge of pot possession without even appearing in court. County Attorney Kit Bramblett was only joking when he told of Dean-Walker’s demands for a court appearance and an unusual plea proposal, Dean-Walker said.

Bramblett had said Nelson could resolve the marijuana charge with payment of a small fine and a court appearance in which Nelson sings “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain"—with his guitar.
