Atlanta-Based Employment Boutique Expands to West Coast

A rapidly growing Atlanta-based employment boutique is expanding its services to the West Coast, with the acquisition of a California-based counterpart, Landegger, Baron & Lavenant.

Constangy Brooks & Smith "has added 12 offices since 1999, and we are continuing to expand our presence into new areas of the country," the firm states on its website. The latest move not only adds 10 employment practitioners to the firm's more than 100-lawyer attorney roster but brings in several bilingual attorneys who will expand its range of services, Constangy notes in a press release.

Although most of its offices are in the southern United States, Florida and Texas, Constangy has recently opened offices in Chicago and Milwaukee. The firm generally represents employers.
