Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft is starting a new intellectual property practice group, after raiding another law firm for top talent.

In charge of the new Cadwalader IP group will be Christopher Hughes, a veteran patent litigation partner lured from intellectual property boutique Morgan & Finnegan. He will now be a partner at Cadwalader, reports New York Lawyer (reg. req.), reprinting a New York Law Journal story.

Cadwalader has also recently amped up its antitrust and bankruptcy practices
