Colo. Law Partner’s Rallying Call: SOS Could Create Many Individual Jobs

What if every business that had the ability to create just one job did so?

That's the premise for an unusual idea to help improve the global economy that is described by a Colorado lawyer in an op-ed piece in the Denver Post.

Partner Larry Pozner of the Reilly Pozner commercial litigation firm in Denver says his firm pledges to "to give employment to at least one more person than we need. It doesn't count if all we do is make sure we find work for everyone we currently employ. We have to add at least one employee to our business."

By doing so, Pozner writes, his so-called Save One Soul or SOS program is doing something important if it helps just one person who needs a job. But if other employers focus their efforts on creating just one job, too, the group could make an even bigger change for the better.

Meanwhile, it isn't just for this one initial make-work job that the firm is looking to hire: Reilly Pozner is also seeking experienced litigation attorneys, the firm notes on its website.
