Concordia U Delays Planned Launch of New Law School in Boise, Idaho

Concordia University is pushing back by one year a plan to open a new law school in Boise, Idaho.

Instead, the Oregon-based Lutheran university now hopes to launch the new law school in the fall of 2011, reports the Idaho Business Review.

Concordia apparently is still in the process of raising some $7 million needed to push forward with the planned law school.

A new law school also is planned in Boise by the University of Idaho, notes the Associated Press. So far, however, the state board of education has permitted the school only to establish a program there for third-year students.
