Downward Spiral for Minn. Attorney

Only a few years ago, Robert Weisberg seemingly was a successful Minneapolis personal lawyer and businessman.
Now, the 45-year-old has a newly shuttered newsstand chain business and an empty law office, as of December, when other attorneys walked out. Plus, he is defending not only an attorney discipline complaint that could result in the loss of his law license but a criminal case involving drug and weapons charges, reports the Star-Tribune.
His wife also is divorcing him, according to the article. Meanwhile, one comment has been repeatedly made by those dealing with him: he's not easy to track down.
"One man, told by Weisberg to come to his downtown Minneapolis office to pick up a settlement check in a personal-injury suit, arrived to find the office gone," the article states. "Not just dark, but empty of desks and people, according to a professional investigation into his law practice."
