Broadening its expansion into Asia, a major Philadelphia firm has announced it will open two offices in Vietnam.

Duane Morris, a business firm with an attorney roster of 650, announced in January the opening of a Singapore office with eight lawyers, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer. The two new offices that the firm will now open in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi are intended to supplement its Singapore practice, according to Sheldon Bonovitz, the firm's chairman. Singapore is a fast-developing center for pharmaceuticals and international finance.

Eduardo Ramos-Gomez, a former Mexican ambassador to Singapore, is in charge of both the Singapore and Vietnam offices.
