Funny Videos Woo Associates

A Boston law firm is trying to woo associates with humorous video clips posted to its Web site that portray a frazzled “megafirm” lawyer who works hard but doesn’t get into the courtroom.
The clips posted by Choate, Hall & Stewart contrast the megafirm lawyer with the calmly assured Choate associate, who says at her firm she was part of the action from day one. The associate has time to go to the beach, while the megafirm lawyer accompanies her wearing an inner tube on top of his business suit. Professional actors portray the young lawyers, the National Law Journal reports.
Co-managing partner John Nadas told the NLJ the videos emphasize that associates have more responsibilities. "There are serious recruiting messages embedded in playful videos," he said.
