An 11-year-old Florida girl has been charged with drunken driving after a high-speed chase in Alabama in which she clocked more than 100 mph before sideswiping another vehicle and crashing her family's car.

The girl, whose name wasn't released because she is a juvenile, also faces charges of speeding, leaving the scene of an accident and reckless endangerment in Baldwin County Juvenile Court, according to the Associated Press. She was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital and released.

Information about the girl's blood-alcohol content wasn't provided, and police say they don't know where she obtained alcohol. She told authorities she was en route to pick up her sister at a concert.
