The law firm that helped bring the Colts to Indianapolis has struck a naming rights deal to become one of the founding sponsors of the team's new stadium.

Baker & Daniels will have its name on the upper and lower east club levels in a deal estimated to be worth $500,000 to $1.5 million a year, the Indianapolis Star reports.

Former managing partner David R. Frick, who rejoined the firm in September as counsel, was reportedly involved in the 1983 negotiations to bring the Colts to the Hoosier state. He also is chair of the group that is overseeing stadium construction.

Lucas Oil Stadium is set to be completed in August.
