InstaPundit is the most popular blog edited by a law professor, according to the most recent traffic rankings.

InstaPundit, written by University of Tennessee professor Glenn Reynolds, was a readers’ choice winner in the category of “politics for sport” in the ABA Journal’s Blawg 100. The Volokh Conspiracy, another readers’ choice winner in the “ivory tower" category, was third on the list.

TaxProf Blog compiled the list, which puts TaxProf at No. 5. The blog cautions that the list includes only those law-professor edited sites in existence for at least a year with publicly available SiteMeters.

The top five are:

  1. InstaPundit

  2. Hugh Hewitt

  3. The Volokh Conspiracy

  4. Althouse

  5. TaxProf Blog
