Labor and employment law firm Jackson Lewis is opening a Philadelphia office with lawyers poached from two other firms.

Rick Grimaldi, formerly counsel with White & Williams, will head the office, the Legal Intelligencer reports. He will be joined with another White & Williams lawyer and a lawyer from Saul Ewing.

Grimaldi told the legal newspaper his move is “an amazing opportunity to plant the flag for a national firm."

The new office is the 30th office for Jackson Lewis and the seventh opened in the past year. Two other labor and employment firms have also recently opened offices in Philadelphia. They are Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart and Fisher & Phillips.
