Jena Six Teen Back in Jail

Mychal Bell, one of the six teens at the center of the Jena Six civil rights controversy, is back in jail.

Yesterday Judge J.P. Mauffrey Jr. ordered Bell to serve 18 months in jail, saying his participation in the beating of a white classmate violated probation for a previous juvenile court conviction, the Associated Press reports. The court hearing was supposed to have been routine, Bell’s attorney said.

More than 20,000 demonstrators protested Bell’s battery conviction to highlight differences in the way blacks and whites are treated by the criminal justice system. The beating took place after three nooses were hung from a tree, known as a gathering place for white students, after a black student sat there. An appeals court later overturned the conviction, saying Bell should not have been tried as an adult.

The Rev. Al Sharpton protested the judge’s latest decision. "We feel this was a cruel and unusual punishment and is a revenge by this judge for the Jena Six movement," he told AP.

The Associated Press, like many running the ABA, are die-hard defenders of the obviously guilty.

Mychal Bell was in jail the longest because he beat his girlfriend so bad her eyeball was knocked out of its socket. Yeah, the AP couldn’t bother with this little detail—they couldn’t make their “victim” look bad.

And this new nonsense from the AP about the racist protesters marching “to highlight differences in the way blacks and whites are treated by the criminal justice system” is LOL funny.

No, AP, they were celebrating the beating of a white kid with signs that read: “They Stood for Us, Now We Stand For Them!” To anyone with at least 5th grade reading skills, that is CLEARLY an attempt to legitimize the beating.

And did the AP ever tell you that the victim had his head smashed against a cement block, had blood pouring out his ears, and was blind in one eye for about a month? Nope, they missed all that. Too busy working overtime to turn a violent thug into a “victim.”

Recall that about a week before the Violent Jena 6 story broke, exactly six whites locked a black woman in their home in West Virginia. They abused her, sexually assaulted her, and did all sorts of disgusting things to her.

Imagine if hundreds of whites took to the streets in support of the abusers! Ha! Do you think that the AP would write that white people were marching “to highlight how much crime is perpetrated on whites by blacks”....?

No, all 12 abusers need to be thrown in jail no matter how much screaming we hear from the race-hustlers.
