Jones Day has hired four intellectual property lawyers for its Hong Kong office from Baker & McKenzie's office in the same city.

They are Peggy Cheung, Anita Leung, Chiang Ling Li and Helen Tang, the National Law Journal reports. Tang will have of-counsel status, and the others will be partners.

The new hires help make Jones Day’s Asia IP practice one of the largest of any full-service law firm, says Barbara Mok, partner-in-charge of Jones Day's Hong Kong office. "Their expertise will significantly boost our full-service IP offerings in the areas of contentious, transactional and trademark IP law,” she said in a press release.
