Jurors were questioned about their own personal masturbation habits today at the outset of a Florida trial in which they must determine if a 20-year-old inmate is guilty of masturbating while alone in his jail cell.

In response to a defense lawyer's questioning, all nine men among the prospective jurors said they had themselves masturbated, but two of the 10 women said they hadn't, reports the Miami Herald. The seven jurors selected had all done the deed.

Terry Lee Alexander, 20, allegedly was masturbating in November while alone in his Broward County jail cell. He was charged with misdemeanor indecent exposure after he was seen by a female deputy watching from a nearby control room who "became offended," according to the Herald. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of one year in jail.
