At least two law firms have agreed to match their employees’ donations to relief efforts in regions suffering from natural disasters, according to e-mails obtained by two blogs.

Heller Ehrman has agreed to match donations to the Red Cross by its lawyers and staffers who want to assist victims of the earthquake in China, reports The BLT: The Blog of Legal Times.

An e-mail by chief operating officer Brad Scott said the law firm will match employee donations up to $50,000, and its charitable foundation will also make a direct donation.

Above the Law reports that Dewey & LeBoeuf will match donations up to $200,000 for relief efforts in China and Myanmar.
