Law Grad Writes Book on Fellow Muslims

Individuals Melody Moezzi contacted about publishing her first book wanted the Emory University law graduate to interview a terrorist.

But for Moezzi, that was just one more reason to write the book she wanted to write, about ordinary young Muslims like herself for whom their religion is not and has never been an invitation to violence. The result: War on Error: Real Stories of American Muslims, was published by the University of Arkansas Press to positive reviews and sells for $18.95 in paperback, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

"I wrote this book because I was sick of how the media was portraying something that was incredibly important to me," she says. "My faith. Most of us are no different from any other people of faith. We want to do right by God."
