A lawyer couple accused of insider trading have reached an agreement to plead guilty.

A prosecutor discloses in a letter to a Manhattan federal judge that Randi and Christopher Collotta will enter guilty pleas on Thursday, according to the Wall Street Journal (sub. req.). The newspaper did not have specifics of the plea deal.

Randi Collotta was a compliance officer at Morgan Stanley & Co. The indictment had accused her and her husband of participating in a scheme to leak inside information about pending deals. A prior Wall Street Journal article says the information was passed along to a Florida broker who was a friend of Christopher Collotta’s.

A hat tip to the Wall Street Journal's Law Blog, which posted the stories and the indictment.
