A lawsuit filed against Cozen O'Connor by a lawyer who said she was fired over her political work has been dropped by agreement of the parties.

Lawyers on both sides of the suit filed by lawyer Patricia Biswanger told the Legal Intelligencer that the matter has been resolved—but they declined to use the word “settlement” to describe the resolution. The dismissal was with prejudice.

Biswanger had alleged Cozen O'Connor fired her for using firm resources for political activities while it allowed male lawyers to do so. The firm had responded it fired the lawyer after warnings she should not use firm e-mail and stationery in a dispute with a local judge.
