Legal recruiter Martha Fay Africa is changing firms and direction.

Africa had worked at Major, Lindsey & Africa for nearly 24 years as it grew from a startup to a firm with about 110 recruiters, the Recorder reports. Now she is moving to a smaller search firm in San Francisco, Hodge/Niederer/Cariani, and she will do executive rather than legal recruiting, according to a press release.

Africa had already given up partnership status at the legal search firm.
