Actress Lindsay Lohan pleaded no contest today to seven misdemeanor counts of drunk driving and cocaine possession that arose from two separate arrests in May and July.

In exchange, she was sentenced to two days in jail, but given credit for one day of time served, reports Reuters. She also received 10 days of community service and three years of probation.

"It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs. Recently, I relapsed and did things for which I am ashamed. I broke the law, and today I took responsibility," Lohan, who is currently in treatment in a Utah rehabilitation facility, said in a written statement.

Lohan received no special consideration because of being a celebrity, according to Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers.
