Local Ky. Hero Lands D.C. Job

Bowling Green, Ky., lawyer Chris McKinney has received many accolades over the years. He was named Kentucky Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year in 2007, received a Bronze Star for military service, and was featured on the "Heroes" segment for CNN’s Lou Dobbs Tonight show.
Now he is leaving the law firm English, Lucas, Priest, & Owsley for a job with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, WBKO reports.
McKinney told WKBO in a separate story that he felt his missions in Iraq and Afghanistan were important. “I was honored to do my duty.”
