A woman who worked as an executive legal secretary for 63 years has died at the age of 98, eight years after her retirement.

Elizabeth Leonard Mayo began work in 1937 for Francis M. Shea, who founded the law firm Shea & Gardner, the Washington Post reports. Mayo followed Shea when he was associate counsel at the Nuremburg Trials, acting as one of the secretaries.

Shea died in 1989. Shea & Gardner was acquired by Goodwin Procter in 2004.
