Federal investigators want to ask Mary-Kate Olsen how Dark Knight star Heath Ledger got two powerful painkillers that contributed to his accidental overdose last year at age 28.

But the actress refuses to talk to the Drug Enforcement Administration unless she is given immunity, reports the New York Post. Olsen, known for her work in Full House, was a close friend of Ledger's and reportedly was the first person called by a masseuse who found his dead body in his New York apartment early this year.

Attorney Michael Miller, who represents the actress, says she knows nothing about the source of the drugs Ledger took and has already told the government everything she knows.

"Despite tabloid speculation, Mary-Kate Olsen had nothing whatsoever to do with the drugs found in Heath Ledger's home or his body, and she does not know where he obtained them," he told the Post in a written statement.
