Meet Spitzer’s Lead Lawyer, Michele Hirshman of Paul Weiss

Updated: A former top aide to embattled New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, back in the day when he was state attorney general, now reportedly has a new job as Spitzer's legal counsel.
Litigation partner Michele Hirshman of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison got a call from her old boss soon after federal prosecutors linked him, as "Client 9," to a prostitution ring, according to the Wall Street Journal Law Blog. A graduate of Yale Law School, she works in the firm's New York office.
"Hirshman will be helped by Paul Weiss partner Mark Pomerantz, a star litigator whose clients have included Apple chairman and CEO Steven Jobs and former ImClone chairman Sam Waksal," the WSJ blog adds.
Spitzer has not been charged with any crime, and it is not clear that he will be.
A subsequent ABAJournal.com post discusses Boyd Johnson III, the prosecutor in the prostitution case that led to the New York governor's resignation from office, after investigators learned he had hired the services of a high-priced call girl.

Fi’gured he’d hire a bruiser of a woman whose skirt he can hide behind. I can’t believe the wife is “standing by her man”...She was looking pretty ragged on TV, justifyably, after learning her hubby, Spitter was fooling around on her (and draining the family piggy bank to do so) Can you believe that sanctimonious oaf; paying money for sex? Of course, if I looked like him, I might have to pay, but if I even had the scratch to pay money for sex, I’d certainly expect a lot better than Kristen--I’d be running away from someone like that, not paying for a roll in the hay with her. People are nuts. And Spitzer’s kids are going to take a lot of crap in school. Believe me, I’ve been there, in a way.

"Meet Spitzer’s Lead Lawyer”?? I would at a minimum expect to see a bio and a photo, and perhaps even an interview. I guess from this article we know where she works and what law school she attended. That’s all in the public media already. What was the purpose of this article?

What can we expect from someone who uses the childish eponym “Mike Hunt.” Please grow up.
That being said, Spitzer’s conduct is contemptible. I share “Hunt’s” concern about the effect on his children - and also its effect on his many loyal, dedicated and hardworking staffers who are now paying the price for Spitzer’s lying, cheating and hypocrisy.

Mrs Clinton stood by her man and IMO that was much worse than this he was our president and made this country the laughingstock of the world especially when concress impeached him and the senate would not go along with it.Anyone wonder why???
