An Indiana law firm has converted a conference room into a lactation room for nursing mothers, providing them with a private and comfortable place to pump breast milk and a refrigerator in which to keep it.

Although a new state law now requires employers of more than 25 to offcer such facilities, Barnes & Thornburg had previously planned to do so, reports WSBT-TV, a local CBS News affiliate.

"As a mother of three children having a place that is designated, having an electrical outlet with a hospital grade breast pump so this can be done efficiently and privately and with respect and dignity, does make a difference. It makes it a much more comfortable working environment," says Jeanine Gozdezki. She is a partner of the 475-lawyer firm.
