A Michigan organization that finds volunteers to work on behalf of children removed from their homes because of neglect or abuse has given its website a makeover.

CASA Washtenaw’s new site has YouTube videos about youths’ experiences in foster care and how court-appointed special advocates have helped. It also has a checkout button to allow users to donate money with a few clicks of the mouse.

The makeover was done with the help of Google Tools for Nonprofits, according to The Official Google Blog.

Casa Washtenaw chair Marianne Clauw told Google: “We live in a competitive landscape: for donors, for volunteers, for grants. What we've done with Google is a major step in being competitive.”
