Not a Peep from Obama re Veep, But Has He Chosen Joe Biden?

Despite rampant media speculation about Barack Obama's chosen running mate, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee has managed to keep the name of the candidate he has selected secret. He is expected to make an official announcement of his vice presidential choice tomorrow, in the capital of his home state of Illinois.
But a few whispers have focused on Sen. Joe Biden, a lawyer from Delaware, as the chosen one.
The Associated Press hints at this tonight, reporting that "Alone among the leading prospects, Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware remained out of public sight during the day. Longtime associates said they believed—but did not know for sure—that Obama would turn to him, adding they had been asked to stand by in case their help was needed."
"Speculation about Obama's choice has centered on three prime contenders—Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh and Delaware Sen. Joseph Biden," reports Reuters. But "NBC News, quoting sources, reported on Friday that Bayh and Kaine had been told by Obama's campaign they would not be his vice presidential choice."
Meanwhile, a New York lawyer says on the Global Politician blog that his sources "indicate" Biden will definitely be Obama's running mate.
Other known possibilities for the vice presidential role include New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, Texas Rep. Chet Edwards, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.

FUNNY how the ABA puts out this story on Biden… but never put out a similar story on McCain choosing a running mate.
When is the ABA going to acknowledge that it has a leftist agenda? Time to change the name to LABA or just LBA.
